Amritha Bharathi Vidyapeedom

In these days of advancement of studies in science, technology and professional faculties aimed at bringing up the children to suit the present day scenario of economic development all over the world, the new generation is deprived of opportunities to learn the literary works of ancient sages and teachers that will be useful to maintain a clear life of understanding about themselves and their relationship with the universe. To fill these lacunae, Amritha Bharathi Vidyapeedom which was started in the year 1986 conducts periodical examinations in 3 phase’s viz., Prabhodhini, Sandeepani and Bharathi and disburse scholarship certificates. Lessons and informations or references are also provided to the participants well before these examinations are conducted. Around 5000 candidates attend these examinations every year. An Ashirvada sabha (convocation ceremony) is conducted to honour those who get through in these examinations.

Malayala Mahasammelan (Great Malayalam summit)is also conducted at the same venue.
