Our culture believes ‘Acharya devo bhavah’: (Teacher is revered as God). Now-a-days the importance of ‘Guru’ is declining. To inculcate among children the habit of respecting elders, Balagokulam units conduct Gurupuja by honouring an eminent and elderly person of their village.
